Brydon Price

A native kiwi, Brydon is the product of the New Zealand specialty coffee world, where he first certified as a WBC judge. Migrating across the seas to Australia, recent years have seen him immersed in the vibrant specialty scene of Melbourne with Five Senses Coffee. Notably his certification has also now migrated, as of 2016 certified an Australian WBC and WBrC Judge!

Brydon, who has judged at the WBC Finals since London 2010, is an experienced WCE Rep, WBC Head Judge and Q Grader. He sees judging many varied competitions around the globe and providing support to emerging specialty coffee industries as a continuing privilege plus a great opportunity to make many new coffee friends.

Most memorable judging experience – judging the final six baristas of WBC Bogota whilst the local and visiting crowd roared their support for our first producing nation world champion Alejandro. It was like judging amidst the atmosphere of a football match…amazing.
