In a few weeks, the World Coffee Championships head to Berlin, bringing the World Latte Art, World Coffee In Good Spirits, and World Cup Tasters and Cezve/Ibrik Championships to the Messe Center and the Specialty Coffee Association’s World of Coffee trade show. The show takes places June 6th – 8th, where two stages will be built to showcase 120+ competitors and all the coffee competition excitement! If you would like to watch the competitions live, you can find more info on event tickets, and if you want to watch online, you can see schedules and catch all the action live on wcc.coffee/Berlin.

The Berlin World Coffee Championships will feature the Espresso Bar, including the Art Bar latte art showcase, and the Marco Brew Bar, where visitors will be able to try coffees from a dozen global roasters all weekend. The Spirits Bar portion of the Coffee In Good Spirits competition will also take place at the show, at the Licor 43 bar.

Anchoring one stage will be the World Cup Tasters Championship (WCTC), which uses qualified brewers sponsored by Technivorm Moccamaster, and  Loumidis Papagalos returns as the 2019 Title Sponsor of the Cezve/Ibrik Championship, which will share the stage with the WCTC. Competitors in the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) and World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) will compete on qualified espresso machines sponsored by Sanremo, grinders sponsored by Mahlkönig and Anfim, cleaning products from Urnex, and water by Pentair/Everpure. WLAC competitors will use Lobetaler Bio Organic cow’s milk (3.7% fat), and this year the liquors for the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) will be provided by Zamora’s Licor 43, Gin Méridor, and Grey Goose vodka.
