Please tell us a little about yourself:
I run a coffee roastery named Fiftybeans, based in city of Brno in the Czech Republic. I’m 27 and the last 7 years of my life have been dedicated to the perfect cup of coffee. Besides coffee roasting my hobby is also CrossFit.
How did you get started in coffee?:
7 years ago I visited a coffee roastery for the first time. That was the moment that my coffee journey began.

2017 Czech Brewers Cup – 2nd Place
2018 Czech Brewers Cup Champion
What are you excited to do while you are in Brazil?:
Visit a lot of coffee farms.
What was your first amazing experience with coffee?:
Actually, it was the first time I tasted specialty coffee 6 years ago. I had filter made of Colombian coffee from Carlos Imbachi and I still remember the flavour of sweet apples. Amazing.
What is your favorite coffee brewing method and why?:
Hario V60. It produces the cleanest flavour and it’s super easy.
What coffee-producing country most interests or excites you?:
Each country has its own character and I just love to taste these differences.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
When not in the roastery I do a lot of CrossFit.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?:
In the roastery, dispatching orders…
