Please tell us a little about yourself:

I grew up working in a small family run café, just outside Melbourne. I ended up curating 3000 Thieves, a multi-roaster subscription in Australia, before moving to the UK in 2017. I wanted to learn more about the tech side of coffee and landed in my dream job with Mavam, looking after people, machines, and everything in-between.

What are you excited to do in Boston?:

Drink coffee I haven’t made for myself!

Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:

UK Brewers Cup 2019 Champion

How do you see the coffee industry changing in the future?:

The coffee industry is incredibly unique in it’s ability to have competing companies share knowledge, resources, and collaborate. I’m sure we’ll see significant collaborations that have a profound effect down the supply chain of coffee, all the way to the farm.

Where do you see yourself in five years?:

Hopefully still making tasty coffee!

Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize, or who helped you to prepare for the WBrC?:

SCA UK, Mavam, Mike Myers, Assembly Coffee, James Wise, Nick Mabey, Senina Cojocari, Michael Cleland, Claire Wallace, Ed Anderson Brown, Will Pitts, Caleb ‘Gaz’ Williams, Joel Smedley, Zsuza Zicho, Ben Morrow, Athan Didaskalou, Lisa-Laura Verhoest, Paul Ross, Josh Tarlo, Dan Fellows, all my wonderful customers, Mum, Dad, Imogen, and Eden. Thank you all!
