The Underdog Roaster

Please tell us a little about yourself:

I am a proud member of The Underdog roasters. My hometown is Patra, a city outside of Athens, where I started working as a barista. When I felt ready to move on to the “big league” I decided to move on to Athens, which is the heart of Specialty Coffee in Greece. There I started working in different places until I had the opportunity to join The Underdog, under the guidance of Tasos Delichristos. He and the other members of the team, started working with me and training me how to become a better person and a barista pro. The result of this work came some months later in 2019 when I won my first ever shot at the Greek Latte Art Championship. So, here I am with my coach Michalis Karagiannis, who was a two-time runner up in the World Latte Art Championship (in 2017 and 2018). I just want to make him and my team proud, no matter the result, as we are underdogs.
