Please tell us a little about yourself:
Hello, coffee friends. My name is Andrii. My coffee story began in my student years. That was 11 years ago. While I was working as a bartender, I fell in love with espresso, and since then, coffee has always been with me.
I currently work at the Grusha.ua coffee company. I am responsible for the purchase of green coffee, roasting, and training employees.
How did you get started in coffee?:
I started to work as a marketer at a coffee company that was engaged in the distribution of coffee and tea in 2008.

2008 Ukrainian CIGS – 4th Place
2013 Ukrainian CTC – 2nd Place
2014 Ukrainian CTC – 3rd Place
2017 Ukrainian CTC – 4th Place
2018 Ukrainian CTC – 5th Place
2019 Ukrainian CTC – 1st Place
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
The aim of my trip to Berlin is bringing the 1st place World Cup Tasters Championship trophy to Ukraine.
What is your favourite coffee to cup?:
After a trip to Central America, I fall in love with the coffee from Honduras and El Salvador.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
I like traveling, spending time with friends, working out in the gym, and playing football.
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
I have a great desire to open my own coffee shop, and more than one, actually
