Please tell us a little about yourself:
I’m the Head Roaster at Flight Coffee in Wellington, NZ. Originally from Scotland. First time competing in Cup Tasters was this year – 8/8 in 1:46.
How did you get started in coffee?:
Worked in a coffee cart while at Uni, but I didn’t really get into it until I moved to New Zealand.
Please list the coffee competitions you have participated in, what year they took place, and your results:
NZBC 2015/16/17 – Semis/Finals/Semis
NZ Brewer’s Cup 2017 – 4th place
What are you excited to do in Berlin?:
Meeting up with lots of old coffee friends and making new ones.
What is your favourite coffee to cup?:
Kenyans are always a treat.
What are your interests outside of coffee?:
Photography, and film. I love to cook as well.
Where do you see yourself in five years?:
Still roasting, green buying, and working at origin.
