In less than two months, the World Brewers Cup, and World Latte Art, World Coffee In Good Spirits, and World Cup Tasters Championships will take place in Belo Horizonte during Brazil International Coffee Week. The show takes place November 7th-9th at the Expominas center, where three stages will be built to showcase 100+ competitors and all the coffee competition excitement! There are also many great ways to get involved with competition, including volunteering at the event, and if you have the requisite national body competition judging experience, you can even go through a WCE Judges Certification exam two days before the event, and be ready to judge on stage at the competitions!

This year the liquors for the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship (WCIGS) will be Chivas Regal 12 Year Blended Scotch Whiskey, Beefeater London Dry Gin, and GouveiaBrasil 44 Cachaça. Attendees at Brazil International Coffee Week will also have the chance to get up-close and personal with the WCIGS competitors during the Spirit Bar round, where competitors will present drink performances from 18:00-22:00 Wednesday November 7that CentoeQuatro in the center of Belo Horizonte.

Competitors in the World Latte Art Championship (WLAC) will use Itambé Natural Milk, a 3.5% milk-fat UHT milk that comes from one of the best farms in Brazil, and the RITUAIS espresso blend from Café 3 Corações to pour incredible designs into Loveramics Egg cups. San Remo is the Qualified Espresso Machine sponsor for both the WLAC & WCIGS, with competitors using three-group Café Racer machines. Competitors across all the competitions will use water treated by Pentair/Everpure. World Latte Art Championship competitors will use Anfim grinders, and Mahlkönig will provide qualified grinders for the World Coffee In Good Spirits Championship. Ditting will provide grinders for the World Brewers Cup, and all of the coffee for the World Cup Tasters Championship will be prepared on Technivorm Moccamasters.
